Retroperitoneal sarcoma : Symptoms and treatment
Retroperitoneal sarcoma (RPS) is a rare abdominal tumor whose diagnosis and management is challenging. RPS manifests with vague, non-specific symptoms with decrease in apetite. Often, it is diagnosed late when it grows huge and fills the entire abdomen. The most critical component of the treatment of RPS remains the surger and it offers the maximum chances of cure and survival. Chemotherpy and radiotherapy is also used for treatment.
